I enjoy reading Linux Magazine each month. They used to provide full copies of each magazine six months after they were first published. Sadly that has now changed so when I recycle the paper magazine I cannot refer to the articles anymore. Here are some of my favourite articles from the last few editions where articles are available.

- Securing VoIP Networks – taking a look at the risks involved in VoIP.
- Wireless LAN Security – I’m not sure I agree with all of the tips presented but most things are sensible.

- Performance Tuning Toolbox – a good reminder about a number of tools that are useful for analysing (lack of) performance.
June 2009
- Tips for optimizing performance in virtual environments – virtualization needs careful tuning – ensuring you get good I/O performance is a good start but there
- is lots more to consider too.
August 2009
- Serves you right - Cloud 9 – something to keep an eye on. A shared workspace environment that looks promising.
September 2009
- Intrusion 101 – a good introduction to various web intrusion techniques.
July 2010
- Logfile viewers – various tools for looking at logfiles.
- Geocaching – the kids are getting into this!
